Privacy Policy

Yes!School (“we”, “us”) operates a Russian-language school for children in Vaughan, Ontario. This policy explains what personal information we collect, why, and what you can do about it.

What we collect

When you contact us through a form on Facebook or Instagram, through WhatsApp, or through this website, we collect:

  • Your name
  • Your email address
  • Your phone number
  • The age of your child
  • Which days of the week suit you
  • Which advertisement or page you came from

We do not ask for, and do not want, any other information about your child.

Why we collect it

For one purpose: to contact you about classes at Yes!School, to tell you which group suits your child’s age, and to arrange a trial lesson. Nothing else.

Consent

By submitting a form you consent to us contacting you about Yes!School. You can withdraw that consent at any time — reply “стоп” or “stop” to any message, or email us. We will stop contacting you and delete your information.

Service providers

We do not sell your information, and we do not give it to anyone to use for their own purposes.

Like any small business, we use standard software to receive enquiries and keep our records — social media platforms, and secure tools for storing contact details. These providers act only on our instructions and only to deliver your enquiry to us. Some of them store data outside Canada, including in the United States, where it may be subject to the laws of that country.

Information about children

We collect only your child’s age, and only so we can recommend the right group. We do not collect your child’s name, photograph, school records or health information through this form, and we do not knowingly collect information directly from children. If your child enrols, anything further is collected separately, from you, with a separate consent.

How long we keep it

If you become a Yes!School family, we keep your contact details for as long as your child attends and for seven years afterwards, as required for business records. If you enquire but do not enrol, we delete your information after 24 months.

Cookies and tracking

This website uses analytics and advertising cookies, which record that you visited certain pages. This helps us understand which advertisements bring people to us. You can block these through your browser settings, and you can control how ads are targeted to you in the ad settings of the social media platforms you use.

Your rights

Under Canadian privacy law (PIPEDA) you have the right to:

  • ask what personal information we hold about you
  • ask us to correct anything that is wrong
  • ask us to delete it
  • withdraw your consent to being contacted
  • complain to the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada

To exercise any of these, email info@yesschool.ca. We respond within 30 days.

Changes

If we change this policy we will update the date at the top of this page.

Зачем

Согласие

Отправляя форму, вы соглашаетесь на то, что мы свяжемся с вами по поводу Yes!School. Отозвать согласие можно в любой момент — ответьте «стоп» на любое сообщение или напишите нам на почту. Мы перестанем вам писать и удалим ваши данные.

Сервисы, которыми мы пользуемся

Мы не продаём ваши данные и не передаём их никому для использования в своих целях.

Как любая небольшая организация, мы пользуемся обычными программами, чтобы получать заявки и вести записи — социальными сетями и защищёнными сервисами для хранения контактов. Эти сервисы действуют только по нашему поручению и только для того, чтобы передать нам вашу заявку. Часть из них хранит данные за пределами Канады, в том числе в США, где действует законодательство соответствующей страны.

Данные о детях

Мы собираем только возраст ребёнка и только для того, чтобы подобрать группу. Через форму мы не собираем имя ребёнка, фотографии, школьные или медицинские данные и не собираем данные напрямую от детей. Если ребёнок зачислен, всё остальное собирается отдельно, у вас, с отдельным согласием.

Сколько храним

Если вы становитесь семьёй Yes!School — храним контакты всё время обучения и семь лет после, как того требуют правила ведения документации. Если вы обратились, но не записались — удаляем через 24 месяца.

Cookies и отслеживание

На сайте используются аналитические и рекламные cookies: они фиксируют посещение отдельных страниц. Это помогает понять, какая реклама приводит людей. Отключить их можно в настройках браузера, а настроить показ рекламы — в рекламных настройках соцсетей, которыми вы пользуетесь.

Ваши права

По канадскому закону о защите данных (PIPEDA) вы можете:

  • узнать, какие ваши данные у нас есть
  • попросить исправить неточности
  • попросить удалить их
  • отозвать согласие на связь
  • подать жалобу уполномоченному по вопросам конфиденциальности Канады
